Nursing Research & Evidence-Based Practice

This session highlights the critical role of nursing and midwifery-driven research in transforming patient care, especially within the domains of women’s health, obstetrics, and gynaecology. Participants will explore research design, evidence interpretation, and the practical application of findings in clinical settings to improve outcomes for mothers, newborns, and families.

Through real-world case studies, presenters will demonstrate how evidence-based practice has led to safer, more effective interventions—particularly in managing conditions such as endometriosis. The session will also examine the integration of telemedicine in nursing research, ethical considerations, and strategies for securing research funding.

By fostering a culture of inquiry, this session empowers nurses, midwives, and allied professionals to become change agents through research and innovation.
