Midwifery Nurse Practitioner

Midwifery nurse practitioners are also called as midwives. A nurse midwife is a person have advance practice as a registered nurse, specialized education and training in midwifery. A nurse midwife is a licensed healthcare professional who help in childbirth and women’s reproductive health. The responsible for nurse midwifery attending the delivery, gynaecological examination, providing family planning services and giving primary care for reproductive health. Midwives provide consultation, management, collaborative management according to standards of midwifery practice.
