Gynecology and Obstetrics

Gynecology is a specialty of medicine that focuses on women's health, particularly during pregnancy and delivery. They also concentrate on detecting and treating disorders that affect the female reproductive system. Hormone disorders, infertilitymenopause, and birth control are some of the other women's health concerns that a Gynecologist may help with. The main responsibility of an obstetrician is to supervise and care for the mother after the baby is born. During the birth, they also assist the gynecologist. An obstetrician-gynecologist is a well-trained clinician who can handle any of these problems.
